As part of the FLI Program, Future Institute held its FLI Program workshop, "The Power of Purpose: Finding Meaning in What You Do," on November 12, 2025. Our two annual workshops—hosted each Fall and Spring—are designed to provide ongoing support and insight for all FLI College program participants.

The Future Institute hosted the FLI Fall 2025 Social Skills Workshop, an inspiring session designed to prepare its newest cohort of 155 FLI College participants for the next chapter of their academic and professional lives. Hosted by Mr. Barberson, the workshop featured a keynote presentation from Mr. Sedat Duman, CEO and President of Concept Schools, who challenged students to identify their personal "Why"—the driving purpose and impact they wish to have on their communities. Throughout the interactive session, students explored the distinctions between personal ambition and altruistic mission, the importance of resilience in the face of challenges, and the power of gratitude toward the families and educators supporting their journeys. To wrap up the event, participants were tasked with creating their own "Why" videos, a project designed to help them articulate their goals as they prepare to transition into the Future Institute Alumni Network and beyond.
