Digging Deep into College Persistence

Future Institute hosted the Future Institute Research Center Fellows in our central office outside Chicago for a recent Board meeting on October 27. The Research Fellows identified the most important functions of Future Institute, which are to:
  1. Ease high school to college transition and career-readiness.
  2. Provide social support and on-going communications during college.
  3. Increase college persistence rates by implementing programs informed by strategic research.
  4. Assist students in identifying both interests and aptitudes that match training programs, certifications, internships, and job opportunities in high-demand areas.

The Research Board identifies specific areas of research that inform the practices of Future Institute as we continue to create opportunities for Concept students and graduates.
