Future Institute hosted the Future Institute Research Center Fellows in our central office outside Chicago for a recent Board meeting on October 27. The Research Fellows identified the most important functions of Future Institute, which are to:
- Ease high school to college transition and career-readiness.
- Provide social support and on-going communications during college.
- Increase college persistence rates by implementing programs informed by strategic research.
- Assist students in identifying both interests and aptitudes that match training programs, certifications, internships, and job opportunities in high-demand areas.
The Research Board identifies specific areas of research that inform the practices of Future Institute as we continue to create opportunities for Concept students and graduates.
