    Dr. Terri S. Pope

    Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®) Westshore Campus

    Dr. Terri S. Pope serves as Westshore Campus President at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®). The campus, which opened in January 2011, provides two-year technical as well as transfer opportunities for students in STEM, health careers, business and liberal arts. Approximately 85% of Westshore graduates will spend their entire employment career in the Northeast Ohio area.

    As campus president, Dr. Pope is chief executive officer of a 50-acre campus located in Westlake. The leadership team manages an additional educational site, also in Westlake, at the Corporate College West building. Since opening in 2011, Westshore Campus enrollments have doubled to provide 2,800 students a caring place “where futures begin.” Dr. Pope leads a team of 200 faculty and staff with an annual operating budget of more than $6 million. Externally, President Pope represents Tri-C to a variety of business, education and civic stakeholders in the local Westshore communities.

    Before her presidency, Dr. Pope served as a professor of biology/chemistry at Tri-C and held many positions in faculty leadership. She was hired by Tri-C in 1988 as an adjunct biology instructor, became a full-time instructor in 1991 and gained tenure in 1997. In 2012, Dr. Pope received the Excellence in Teaching Award presented in honor of Ralph M. Besse, was recognized by the League of Innovation in 2013 with the John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Award and by the YWCA of Greater Cleveland in 2015 with the Women of Achievement Award.

    Dr. Pope holds a doctorate in philosophy with an emphasis in physiological chemistry from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science from Case Western Reserve University. She began her college career by attending Tri-C for the first two years of her undergraduate studies.

    Dr. Pope is married to William, and has one son, an architect, residing in Chicago.

    Dr. Bray is an occupational medicine specialist in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his medical degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and he did his medical residency at Johns Hopkins. He has been in practice for over 40 years. He served on active duty in the US Navy for nine years and qualified as a Diving and Submarine Medical Officer.

    Dr. Bonder received her bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University, and her Ph.D. in counseling from Northwestern University. Dr. Bonder’s research focuses on prevention of occupational dysfunction for older adults, and on cultural competency and reducing health disparities. She has published four books, including Culture in Clinical Care: Strategies for Competence (2nd edition, forthcoming) and Functional Performance in Older Adults (3rd edition). She has authored or co-authored more than 45 papers and chapters and is past editor of the Occupational Therapy Journal of Research. Dr. Bonder has undertaken grant projects for the U.S. Bureau of Health Professions and the National Institutes of Health. She is currently the Project Director for the Education Core of MetroHealth Medical Center’s NIMHD project to reduce health disparities.

    Paul Sauerland

    Paul Sauerland has 30+ years experience working in the technology sector. He is currently the Director of Marketing at Andeen-Hagerling, Inc and was previously the president of Transat Corporation. He currently serves as a trustee on the Shaker Schools Foundation Board of Directors and is a long time volunteer and reading mentor with The Intergenerational School. Paul has undergraduate degrees in engineering and economics from Tufts University and graduate degrees in Business and Engineering from Case's Weatherhead School and Cleveland State respectively. Paul and his wife Teri, an elementary school teacher, have raised five children.

    Dr. Lorber is the Director of PSI’s Department of Educational Support Services. The PSI ESS Department includes Psychologists, Speech Therapists, PTs, OTs, English as Second Language & Foreign Language Teachers and Intervention Specialists. These professionals all provide the highest level of educational support services to the many schools PSI serves.

    Dr. Lorber holds a doctorate from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. Her dedication to staff, professionalism and her high energy level serves the schools we partner with extremely well. “I most enjoy helping to find and support the best possible staff to meet the many needs of the students we serve.     James Crawford

    Lakewood Public Library

    James Crawford is the Director of the Lakewood Public Library, a library that has received a five star rating from Library Journal for excellence in service, organizational efficiency, and operational success.  Previously, Crawford was the public library director in Ottawa County, Ohio.

    Crawford received an undergraduate degree from Miami University, and a graduate library degree from Kent State University's School of Library and Information Service.  Crawford is also a graduate of Cleveland State University's Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and is an attorney registered with the Supreme Court of Ohio and the United States Supreme Court.

    Crawford was a member of the Ottawa County Board of Developmental Disabilities for a number of years, and served as its Board Chair, and is now actively involved in the Huntington Disease Society of America as federal legislation advocacy chair of HDSA's Northeast Ohio Chapter.  He is also a member of or involved in a number of other professional and civic organizations.
