Research Board Talks on Students Challenges and Opportunities

Future Institute hosted the Future Institute Research Center Fellows (view here) in our central office outside Chicago for a fall Board meeting on October 27. The Research Fellows identified the most important functions of Future Institute, which are to:

  1. Ease high school to college transition and career-readiness.
  2. Provide social support and on-going communications during college.
  3. Increase college persistence rates by implementing programs informed by strategic research.
  4. Assist students in identifying both interests and aptitudes that match training programs, certifications, internships, and job opportunities in high-demand areas.

The Research Board will identify specific areas of research that can and will inform the practices of Future Institute as we continue to create opportunities for Concept students and graduates.
